Monitor
CPU, memory, storage, GPU and fan telemetry where the operating system and driver expose a reliable source. Temperature history and alerts help users observe changes.
An open-source desktop platform for hardware monitoring, diagnostics and supported device control across Windows, macOS and Linux.
Beta status: HWcontrol2.0 is still beta software. Read the release notes and check that the expected package assets exist before downloading. Supported controls vary by OS, drivers, firmware and hardware; unsupported paths must remain monitor-only.

Profiles and fan-curve workflows are capability-gated. The UI should not imply that a device can be controlled when its backend does not support that operation.
Local diagnostics, health states and exportable reports are designed to help investigate issues without requiring routine behavioral tracking.
These are intended beta targets; the current release page is the source of truth for available artifacts.
| Platform | Target | Expected packages | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windows | Windows 10/11, x64 | Guided EXE, MSI, MSIX, portable ZIP | Use the guided installer for typical installations. |
| macOS | macOS 14+, Apple Silicon | PKG, DMG containing .app | Intel macOS is not currently a shipped target. |
| Linux | Debian/Ubuntu-family, x64 | DEB, TAR.GZ, TAR.ZST | Hardware access depends on kernel, drivers and permissions. |
The dashboard communicates with an authenticated localhost Go bridge, which mediates access to a native C++ engine and platform-specific APIs. The bridge is a security boundary, not a reason to assume every OS or hardware path is equally supported.
